It's been silent for quite sometime here.
After that stupid GBP/USD blew my account overnight, had to raise some funds to revive my lice account. While trading demo, i stumbled on this trading system and thread on Forex factory, by the 'Tiger of Toraya'. It was like winning a jackpot because i got thrilled just learning and practicing the trading system that allows you to monitor and trade 8pairs.
I am not perfect with the system yet, but can get a feel for it.

account has been funded again and this time with better amount. Trading starts today on live account again with the Trading on 8pairs system.

Nothing to Report

Shit Happens guys
I have got nothing good to report.
Crashed my account on Thursday 11th October on a GU long position that i unwillingly left overnight.

First Account crashed. Got to get some more fund and start again.
Where there is a will, there's got to be a way.

Will be back in no time, at all.

Bad Days Gone

It's not easy to document lossess. I gyess that's why i didn't record anything in the couple of days. But, here i am. I am going to make quite simple from now on. Instead of long stories, i'll just input my positions and the number of pips gained or lost.

Okay
On Thursday 04 October.

My first trades of the day was good.
Long on GBP/USD - +10pips
Long on GBP/USD - +14pips

then i started spoiling it:

Short on EUR/USD - -35pips (my worst loss so far). Guess i'll start hating this pair.
Another good buy

Long on GBP/USD - +24pips (TP was hit).

Would have been a good time to end the day, but i didn't

Long on EUR/USD again and lost 29pips. I guess i never learn.

Total Pips Profit - 50pips
Total Pips Lost - 64pips
Average - -14pips

then on Friday, 05 October, a major news day. I was set to reap all the pips but...

First trade
Short on GBP/USD - -23pips
During nes time

Short on USD/CAD - +16pips

After exiting, greed pushed me in again
Short on USD/CAD - -16pips

And for the much awaited US NFP release, when i was supposed to be in the mosque

Short GBP/USD - -25pips

Net : -48pips

I guess it dawned on me at this point that i was going to run my account out if i don't get disciplined and trade in control. Pledged to be more careful.

On Monday, 09 October, as usual on mondays, market was dull. Following my pledge not to over-trade anymore, i stayed out. But got +3pips from a Short on GBP/USD.

just into a position now, bought GBP/USD at a very low dip. Hope this will take care of some of the lossess recently.

It's Suppose to be a Good Day

I don't know why i keep spoiling a good trade with a bad one.
Yesterday was a good that, and i promised myself i was going to make sure it is a no-loss day. But before the end of the day, i entered a wrong trade and lost 7pips on the GBP/USD pair.

Today started on a very good note. I had 10pips on the GBP/USD pair very early in the morning. I was glad that things are taking shape. Things got better and i made another 14pips on the same pair during news time, though i could have made more.

Again, i entered a wrong trade and lost a whopping 35pips on the EUR/USD pair during a news release. Though i made another 24pips on the GBP/USD later in the evening. I am in a trade in a EU position that is -20pips as i type this.

I hope i would learn to be content with some good pips, before i run this account out.

Tomorrow is a major news day. I am hoping for some good pips.

Things Are Getting Better

Let's say am learning to take things step by step. Instead of expecting to rake in 100s of pips in a single trade, i guess it's better to start gradually by scalping a few pips here and there.
This system had given me my first no-loss trading day. While, i haven't made more than 16pips today, it's at least a departure from the last three consecutive losing days.

It's only going to get better from here; no more mistakes.

Losing Days

Forex is a trade you never finish learning, especially when you have the kind of crazy guys a person like has got.
It's being a series of losses, and i guess that accounts for why i have not made any post since the last one on Thursday last week.
Thursday was supposed to be my best day, but i spoiled it. hen i should be celebrating my 50pips profit, i jumped into a losing trade and lost almost 20 of those hard earned pips. I never knew that was just a beginning.

Friday was another very good day. Woke up late to see GU flying high. I couldn't muster the courage to get in until it was late. I guess the urge to just make something out of this very good trade made me jumped in at the wrong time. Lost 30pips on such a good day when everybody profited. Shit Happens, abi?

Didn't open any position on Monday, because i wasn't home. Had to get to Lagos to take care of some business. On Tuesday,  a friend told me to relax and start trading on Wednesday. I couldn't hold the temptation. And Tuesday became another losing day. Now, am left with almost 50pips less than i started trading with. Again, shit happens.

I am learning, really fast. Patience and care is the name of the game. I am hoping today will bring some succor.

Let's see.

Almost Spoilt Today's Success

I was happy with my 50pips profit early in the day. I decided to close for the day and go sleep. But...
Electricity was restored and i was tempted to enter another trade against sound money management principles.
Well, learnt my lesson today. After daily targets, no more trades.
I went long on GBP/USD pair and the pair fell so sharply to -60pips, due to an announcement that i was supposed to take not of.
Thank God, after hours of waiting for the trend to reverse, i finally exited the trade at -19pips, bringing todays profit to +31pips.

That's not too bad for starters. Tomorrow is another day
